Mrs. Prazeres Barata Ferreira, beloved wife of the late Joaquim Ferreira, born in Ourondo, Covilhã, Portugal, died in Montreal August 30, 2023, at the age of 91. She Leaves to mourn her son Roger (Nelia), her daughter Celia (Dominic), her grandchildren Annalisa (Vincent), Christina, Michael, Daniel, Melyssa (Roy) and Brandon (Pamela), her great-grandchildren Adrien, Julien and Gabriella, her sisters Maria José (Joaquim), Alice and Angelina, brother-in-law Antonio (Filomena), sister-in-law Virginia, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be hold at Les Espaces Memoria 2159, St-Martin E, Laval,QC (514-277-7778). The wake will take place Sunday september 10, 2023 from 2pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm, Monday from 9am. The funeral will take place Monday september 11, 2023 at 11am at Ste-Angèle Church 5275, boul. Lavoisier, Saint-Léonard, Qc H1R 1J5 and will be buried in the cemetery Mausolée St-Martin de Laval.
The family would like to thank all those who have taken part in the funeral ceremonies or who have joined them in their grief in any way. Best wishes.

Faleceu em Montréal, no dia 30 de agosto de 2023, com 91 anos de idade, senhora Prazeres Barata Ferreira esposa do jà falecido Joaquim Ferreira, natural de Ourondo, Covilhã, Portugal. Deixa na dor seu filho Roger (Nelia), sua filha Célia (Dominic), seus netos(as) Annalisa (Vincent), Christina, Michael, Daniel, Melyssa (Roy) e Brandon (Pamela), seus bisnetos(a) Adrien, Julien e Gabriella, suas irmães Maria José (Joaquim), Alice e Angelina, seu cunhado Antonio (Filomena), sua cunhada Virginia, sobrinhos(as), familiares e amigos.

O velório terà lugar domingo 10 de setembro de 2023 das 14h às 17h e das 19h às 21h, segunda-feira a partir das 9h. O funeral terà lugar segunda-feira 11 de setembro de 2023 às 11h na igreja Ste-Angèle 5275, boul. Lavoisier, Saint-Léonard, Qc H1R 1J5 e sera sepultado no cemitério Mausolée St-Martin de Laval.
