It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roman Petraznyk on February 21st 2024 at the age of 76. He leaves behind his devoted partner, Barbara McHarg and much loved daughters Tamara and Lana. He’ll be missed by his stepsons Stephen (Nancy) and Mark McHarg, brother Ihor (Sophie) and nieces. Very special Grandfather to Julien, Zoe, Megan, William, David, Caelan and Djahan.
The family wants to thank Ralph Wightman for his friendship and dedication.
Roman was a committed teacher for 30 years, loved playing hockey, had a passion for golf, enjoyed skiing and travelling.
The family will receive condolences on Monday March 11th 2024 from 2pm-5pm and 7pm-9pm. (Panachyda at 7:30pm) at Les Espaces Memoria located at 3254 rue de Bellechasse and Tuesday March 12th from 10am-11:45am followed by church service at 12:15pm at St. Michael’s Catholic Church at 2388 Rue D’Iberville.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
