Zenaide Manuela (Pacheco) da Estrela beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law and vavó to her four adored grandchildren passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at the age of 85 surrounded by her loved ones.
Mom was born on March 3, 1938, in Achadinha, Sao Miguel, Açores to loving parents Maria da Estrela Moniz and Manuel Pacheco da Ponte.
Family was everything to Mom and cooking for her family was her special gift to us. Cooking Sunday dinners was her happy place and ours too. The warmth and love she poured into these moments will forever remain in our hearts.
Zenaide Manuela Pacheco da Estrela is survived by her loving husband - companheiro - Leonel, three wonderful children Goretti, Ruben (Helen), and Leonel Jorge (Lynnette) and her four lovely grandchildren Chelsea, Noah, Caleb and Riley.

Visitations at the MEMORIAL Funeral Home (3254, Bellechasse, Montreal, Qc) from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 9pm on Friday, January 5th. Funeral mass to be held at the Santa Cruz Church (60, Rachel West, Montreal, Qc) at 9:30am on Saturday, January 6th. She will then be laid to rest at the Repos St-François d’Assise Cemetery.
