Marie (Lili) Panaccio, nee Marchildon, wife of Lucien Panaccio (deceased 1985) passed away peacefully at the age of 101 on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at the Pavillon Alfred-Desrochers of the Institut universitaire de gériatrie de Montréal. She was predeceased by her sisters Lucie (Carl Gavel), Marguerite, Colette (Roy Wirshing), her brothers Jean and François Marchildon, her brothers-in-law Victor Panaccio and Armand Panaccio, her sisters-in-law Denise Crépeau and Yolande Panaccio.
She is survived by her children Nicolas (Barbara McKale), Jean (Micheline Paul), Denise (Donald Dodier), François, André (Lucie Séguin), Colette (Guy Lalumière) and Madeleine (Bill Tresham), seventeen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, her sisters Irène (late Marcel Racicot) and Jeanne (Paul Petitclerc), her sisters-in-law Monique Noiseux (late Jean Marchildon), Jeannette Léger (late François Marchildon) and Thérèse Émond (late Armand Panaccio), numerous nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The family wishes to express its heartfelt gratitude to the caring staff of the Pavillon Alfred-Desrochers, who have shown exceptional compassion and devotion.
