Peacefully and with the love of her family, Vittoria Paralovo (née Sartori) passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 90 years of age after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Nonna, as she was affectionately known by her grandchildren, was the heart of the family.

Vittoria was predeceased by her husband Benito, sister Maria, sister-in-law Gemma and brother-in-law Brando. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones: Devoted and loving mother of Luigi (Sonia); adoring grandmother of Alexander (Catherine) and Olivia (Anthony).

Vittoria also leaves to mourn: her sister Gina Sacchetto (late Giuseppe), nephew Giancarlo, great-niece Julia; nephew Massimo, great-nephew Giovanni and great-niece Karolyne Léa; her sister Gabriella Greco (Ettore), nephew Marco (Georgina), great-nephews Luca and Mario and great-niece Alba; her brother-in-law Fortunato (late Onila); nieces Lori (John), Tania and great-nieces Tara and Kyra; her niece Maria Rosa (Alfonso), great-nieces Carmela, Liana, Karina and great-nephew Joseph; as well as numerous relatives, nieces and nephews in Italy.

Vittoria was a multi-talented woman, not only as an accomplished seamstress, an excellent cook but also as a woman of boundless energy who worked very hard with her husband Benito, sister Gina and brother-in-law Giuseppe in building a successful pasta business – Maison du Ravioli. She will be greatly missed by all the loyal employees and customers.

The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to Dr. Gerald Batist, Dr. Marylise Boutros and the staff of the Jewish General Hospital, and nurse Isabelle Roy and the staff of the CLSC du Nord-de-l’île de Montréal for their care and compassion. A special thank you to Vittoria’s sister Gina for caring for her during the past two years and never leaving her side. Vittoria will be sadly missed by her countless friends who loved her dearly.
